About Us

Bernice L. Moore, CRNP, PMHNP-BC

I am very honored and humbled to be opening Synapses Health, LLC as a Psychiatric NP.

I graduated from Farmingdale State college of Nursing in 2006. I then went on to get my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2016. Finally, I completed my Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner program through Walden University in 2021.

As a Registered Nurse I spent 15 years working within a Med-Surgical Unit, Dialysis, Long-term Care, and Homecare. I also worked at a Psychiatric hospital for children for three years in Pennsylvania. I spent one year doing my internship in a private psychiatric office in Pennsylvania, doing Ketamine infusions and Spravato administration.

I provide psychiatric health services, education, counseling and emotional support to adults and children. I treat clients with a range of mental health diagnosis, such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, etc.,

I treat substance use disorder in an outpatient/tele-visit setting. I provide patient teaching about the diagnosis, medications and better nutritional conditioning.
